Jon is a professionally trained music teacher and performer. He has completed all his piano grades before the age of 17 and received a gold medal for piano from the Royal Irish Academy of Music at the age of 18.

Jon has played live music for many years now professionally all over Ireland and Europe both with original music and cover bands. Jon was the front man of Hunting the Brave who were well received on national radio for a few years with songs like “Bolt from the Blue” “Sparks to Flames” and Ultraviolet, which was playlisted on RTE radio 1 among many others. Jon also recorded a Christmas song called Dare to Dream which got huge support especially from the world renowned Christmas FM, which raised thousands for Age Action that year. Hunting the brave secured a main stage slot at the Cork festival “Independance” which also featured Hudson Taylor, Delerentos, the Coronas and White Lies.

Recently Jon has been working on some new material along with expanding his cover gigs to new venues and corporate events.

Jon is a fully qualified music teacher who loves watching new students progress.

Also Jon is working on a lot of gigs and will be playing all over the country with various bandmates for Weddings, Corporate gigs, pubs gigs and more. ‘There are only 3 songs I will 100% never play if asked… Galway Girl, Wagon Wheel and now Despecito”.
